A few weeks ago, we asked for your Anniversary Box stories to be featured on our blog. Here is a story from Katie Wright of Richmond, VA:
I bought an Anniversary Box for a long-time friend prior to her wedding. Knowing that we were not able to attend some of the special events leading up to her wedding, we chose one card, wrote our message and sealed it. We then sent the box with instructions so other cards could be completed at her showers & rehearsal dinner. My boyfriend and I strategically picked out Anniversary Year #7 and decided to have our message be a little different for the Bride and Groom. We wrote about Lucky #7 and how lucky in love they must be to have found each other. We encouraged them to remember how blessed they are and though times are not always easy to remember that others are not so lucky. Then, we put a "game" on the back for the two of them to complete together…to list the 7 things they love most about each other. Great thing about this game? Everyone wins, and they are reminded of why they fell in love in the first place. I won't know for several more years, but I can't wait to share their reaction when they open the card.
